K1
Hello everyone!
December is here, bringing us closer to Christmas with each passing day. Our K1 class kicked off the week with an exciting Christmas craft, and we decorated our classroom to add a festive touch. To embrace the holiday spirit, we joyfully sang "Jingle Bells."
In Cambridge, we started a new topic: "My Favourite Food." We introduced key vocabulary such as burger, lollipop, mango, orange, pear, cheese, chips, eggs, and fish. We also practiced the phrase, "Can I have... please?"
In Math, we reviewed the shapes we've learned over the past few weeks and mastered counting up to the number 8.
That wraps up this week’s adventures. Take care and stay warm.
K2
Welcome to December, the last month of the year! This week, our K2 students were introduced to the holiday spirit of Christmas. We sang Christmas carols and discussed iconic symbols that represent the holiday. To get into the festive mood, we also created a fun Christmas craft! 😊
In Math, we learned about the equals sign (=) and practiced counting our favorite characters on the smartboard. We discovered that the number of characters we counted is equal to the number shown next to the equals sign.
In our Cambridge lessons, we continued exploring our five senses. We talked about how we smell with our noses and touch with our hands. The students learned to describe different smells and textures, noting that flowers smell pleasant, while trash has a bad odor. They also noted that logs feel rough, while rabbit’s fur feel soft.
That’s it for this week! See you next time!
K3
Welcome to another K3 blog! This week in our Cambridge lesson, we began a new topic talking about the different parts of the face. We learned to recognize the vocabulary and match the words to their corresponding pictures in our workbook. Additionally, we explored some adjectives to describe how people feel.
In math, we are learning to subtract larger numbers from one another. We are having a great time becoming more familiar with it. This week, we're tackling subtraction with numbers up to 50, which feels like quite a challenge! We’re making the most of the fun activities in our classroom related to this subject.
It’s December, and Christmas is just around the corner! For Critical Thinking this week, we had a big class discussion about Christmas and the various objects associated with this festive season. We played a game to identify these objects and the words they represent. It was fascinating to learn about some new items that we don’t typically see here in Hong Kong during Christmas.

2. 能創作句式: 我到超級市場買__________。
